Macomb Twp Chiropractic Chiropractor Chris McNeil
During these stressful and ever changing times in Michigan and Macomb County in the midst  of the Corona Virus COVID-19 global pandemic there have been a lot of misconceptions and unknowns. Michigan's governor, Grethchin Whitmer, has taken on much scrutiny and blow back from many of her decisions pertaining to the closing of business, schools and the stay at home quarantine executive order for the residents in Michigan.

In the beginning of the COVID-19 break out most businesses where forced to close and most workers were forced to stay at home unless essential to maintaining the critical infrastructure of society.  Some offices and workers in healthcare and public health were on the list of  those essential businesses and professionals allowed to stay open and operate since the beginning of the pandemic. Since Doctors of Chiropractic are primary care physicians they are an essential service that was allowed to remain open during the entirety of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Strictly adhering to the CDC guidelines for healthcare professionals and health care offices during the COVID-19 pandemic, Macomb Township Chiropractic, in Macomb County Michigan, was one of those professional offices that remained open since the very beginning of the stay at home executive order by the governor. "Chiropractic offices were one of those professions that was allowed to remain operating since doctors of chiropractic are physicians and considered essential to the infrastructure," said Dr. Chris McNeil of Macomb Township Chiropractic.

Those business that were deemed essential to the infrastructure were made to follow strict guidelines put forth by the health department and the Centers for Disease Control to assure the health and safety of the people in the community. Some of the CDC guidelines that were implemented as a part of the daily routine at Macomb Twp Chiropractic included: social distancing, mandatory wearing of masks for all patients and employees, increased sanitation protocols and COVID-19 Corona Virus symptoms screenings for all patients at each visit.

Chiropractic care can be a crucial part of keeping other critical infrastructure workers healthy and able to continue to do their jobs. Because of the executive stay at home order many of the critical critical infrastructure workers have had to work many more days and hours to help those infected by the COVID-19 Corona Virus. This extra  workcan lead to many health issues that chiropractors help with including: neck pain, back pain, disc bulges,  headaches, hip pain, numbness as well as other health conditions. Dr. Chris McNeil, Chiropractor and clinic director at Macomb Township chiropractic, said "We treat a lot of essential workers like doctors, nurses, grocery store workers, police, fireman, road workers and other first responders.

Without the essential care we provided chiropractors many of our other workers and professionals essential to operating the critical infrastructure of our society may not be able to do their jobs.
